- I helped a friend, Kim set up a studio in her office space, it was a great area to work on headshots and fun portraits. Jenn brought her backgrounds that Kim's husband mounted on the wall for ease of use.
- Started a new watercolor painting.
- Spent a few days at Disney.
- Enjoyed our end-of-the-year party with PB&J Studios.
February
- My youngest turned 5 and asked to go to Gatorland.
- The “Porcelain Makeup" from the Galliano show took the internet by storm, and I took some photos of my 15 year old inspired by the fashion show.
- Saw Moulin Rouge at the Dr. Phillips Center!
March
- Two of my kids got their learner's permit.
- Disney "Girl's Day."
- Volunteered my photography for the Neighborhood Center's Wine to Water.
- I won my first crystal award at Complete Wedding and Event's award banquet.
- Took my oldest's senior studio photos with dinosaurs!
- Tried to create a zip tie crown.
April
- Drove to Dallas, TX to watch the solar eclipse in the line of totality.
- Had my first Meow Wolf Experience at their Grapevine, TX location.
- Finally went to the unique wedding venue, Lizzy Gator, and do a photoshoot.
- Went to the Navy Aviation Museum in Pensacola, FL.
- Participated in the beta test of the Underground Gameshow at the Beauro.
- Joined the Florida Professional Photographers (FPP) and went to Scott Lim's class on Cinematic portraiture.
May
- Attended my first Pexels meet up where models and photographers meet at a designated location and take pictures with each other.
- Took my first real fire-wielding circus act professional photos.
- Took my oldest's senior photos at Dino World.
- Saw Peter Pan at the Dr. Phillips Center.
- Made sugar cookies and icing from scratch for the premier of Chaos Theory.
- My oldest kid graduated!
- Participated in a styled wedding at one of my favorite wedding venues.
- Created "closet cosplays" based on Spongebob characters.
June
- Survived working weddings in the Florida heat.
- Pool party - and it rained.
- Saw How to Train Your Dragon in a movie theater.
- Went to a flat lay workshop at SMP Creative Studios.
- Literally, survived the Florida heat.
