So you've had your photo session, now what?
In today's digital world, it seems like all of our photos are trapped either in our phones, on our computers, or in the cloud. Gone are the days of physical photo albums. So what is another great way to share photos with family members, especially those who live far away? I've recently found an amazing solution to this problem; a digital photo frame. Not the one that you load photos and forget about changing them out and then never use and it just sits there turned off. This one is much cooler than that.
Why is the PhotoSpring (16GB) 10-inch WiFi Cloud Digital Picture Frame better than the others? Because I can use an app on my phone to send photos to the frame anytime. My in-laws live 1,000 miles away and my sister in law lives all the way across the pond in England! We normally share photos on Instagram, or Facebook. But if my mother in law wants to save the photos, she has to screen cap Instagram or download the resized and reformatted photos from Facebook. With the Photospring frame, I can send her the high resolution photos straight from my phone or computer to her frame. It saves a copy for her to keep. Not only do I send her frame photos, but every member of my family and my sister in law's family can do the same! Plus, you can send to multiple frames with the same app if you have multiple frames! Here are a couple screen shots of my cell phone to show you just how easy it is. You click "Send Photos", select the photos, and then tell it which frame to send it to!
The first time I had ever heard about a frame like this was when a relative of my aunt's was in a nursing home. She got her this frame and asked for everyone to email any photos they had to the frame. While this was cool, I often forgot to email photos after the first time I sent some. With the app on my phone, I never forget to send pictures. It's become a daily habit just like checking and posting to my social media accounts.
This would make a great present for yourself or any upcoming holidays; mother's day, father's day, grandparent's day, a wedding anniversary etc. If you have one of these, let me know what you think in the comment section below!
